Ok, so this is really the only “journal” i keep for my kids, etc. and Im just bad at keeping it up! LOL.
So, here are some pics and things we have done lately. It has been CRAZY lately. We went on a small camping trip to nauvoo, we have been back and forth to quincy doing fun things like summer reading club at the library, and the kids have been running loose all over the neighborhood all summer long! Isnt that what kids are supposed to do! I love getting to be outside with them, watching them swim, jump on the trampoline, swing, and all the fun things they love to do. They have lots of little friends in the neighborhood, and we have awesome neighbors whom we love, we are very very lucky. Most times I will have a pool full of kids, or a street full of little bikes, scooters, ride one tractors, and whatever else you can think of!
Dylan and Marlees Birthdays are coming up- Marlees is next week- she is very excited because she shares her birthday with her aunt krista, which she thinks is just awesome! Too bad her aunt krista has to live all the way in UTAH ( HINT HINT KRISTA), we miss her so much!
marlee is having all of her little friends and her two cousins over to the house for a “makeup and beading” party. They are going to play makeup, then make friendship bracelets! She is really really excited. Dylan is having his friends over to swim and have a transformer party. The boy is all about transformers!
Lets see, what else has been going on?? Oh, Keith and I celebrated our 8th anniversary! That is pretty crazy huh! He was so romantic- he said, huh, only 8? feels like 18!
We are still missing Francy and Moses. They both passed away in april, feels like forever ago, but it still hurts. I visit Moses grave at least once a week, to make sure it is weeded, and that no one has taken the little statue of a little boy playing soccer.almost creepy how much the statue looks like moses. and he can play soccer now. that is what keeps me sane i think- he is healthy and happy and free of pain, and like marlee said- shes pretty sure that him and francy have alot of catching up to do. I think Francy is happy to have him in heaven with her. Life is sure hard. that is for sure.
Well, we are getting ready to head inside and eat some pizza- we love those pizza mia pizzas from pizza hut. the kids are bug bitten, sunburnt, and hot and sweaty- isnt summer awesome!!!!!!
